FAQ

1. Are you a broker or an actual manufacturer?
We’re a family‑owned factory (40+ years). Core work is in‑house; we add vetted partner presses for surge/specialty. We remain the prime and accountable.
2. What makes trying you low‑risk?
Start us as a backup on prototypes or overflow. First production lot includes SPC/control charts on every critical dimension and is covered by our capped guarantee (we replace only non‑conforming pieces and expedite at our cost, capped at PO value or 50 kg).
3. How fast do you quote? What starts the clock?
~72 hours once files are complete (3D STEP/IGES + 2D with tolerances/GD&T, resin/finish, EAU & lots, inserts/over‑mold notes, QA needs, packaging, and Incoterms/destination).
4. What tolerances do you actually hold?
We specialize in small parts <100 g with typical ±0.1 mm. We decline ultra‑precision <±0.05 mm to protect schedule and yield.
5. Who owns the tool? What are the tooling terms?
You own the tool. Standard terms: prepayment or LC. We store/maintain it for the life of the program.
6. Can you take over an existing tool (tool transfer)?
Yes. We assess the tool, agree any refurbishment, run a T1 at our site, and then quote production.
7. What exactly is in the first‑lot guarantee?
If any critical‑dimension pieces miss the agreed spec, we replace only those non‑conforming parts and expedite at our cost, capped at your PO value or 50 kg air freight—whichever is lower. Full terms provided with the quote.
8. Do you supply SPC/control charts only on the first lot?
On every delivery. You’ll receive SPC and control charts for all critical dimensions plus an inspection summary.
9. Can you arrange independent inspection?
Yes—third‑party inspection by an accredited lab is available on request (additional fee). We can use your nominated lab.
10. How do you handle cosmetics and color?
We agree a cosmetic standard before production (e.g., golden sample/texture standard like VDI/Mold‑Tech, color target/Pantone or master chip). First lot includes a signed cosmetic agreement.
11. What materials do you run?
Engineering resins (ABS, PC, PA/Nylon, POM, PP, blends; specialty on request). We buy from authorized distributors and maintain lot traceability. Virgin‑only unless a regrind ratio is approved by you.
12. What are typical lead times?
Tooling ~3–4 weeks after DFM; T1 ~1 week after tool completion; first production ~2–3 weeks from approval. Transit: air ~7–10 days, ocean ~4–6 weeks. We confirm dates on each PO.
13. What are your MOQs? Will you do small runs?
Yes—prototypes and pilot lots are welcome, especially for second‑source trials. We’ll quote MOQs by part based on resin, cycle, and setup economics.
14. How do you price logistics and tariffs?
DAP worldwide by default. DDP on request as a separate Tariff & Compliance line at actuals with documents. Prices exclude changes in duties/tariffs (Tariff Adjustment Clause).
15. What are payment terms?
Tooling: prepayment or LC. First production orders: pre‑shipment. Net‑30 typically available after 3 successful deliveries or ~6 months of collaboration.
16. What if we need sub‑assembly, hardware, kitting, or custom pack‑out?
That’s core to our offer. We can source hardware, perform sub‑assembly, label/kit, and ship line‑ready.
17. How will we communicate? Are you responsive in our hours?
Yes. Same‑day responses in North America & Europe hours. You’ll have a direct line to the founder and a single accountable engineer.
18. What quality standards and sampling plans do you use?
ISO 9001:2015 system. ISO 2859‑1 for non‑critical features unless you specify otherwise. Critical dimensions receive 100% inspection on the first lot and SPC/control charts on every lot.
